Digital Technology & Print Production, Changes and alterations made on 'All Saints' campaign photo shoot
We as a group were unable to conduct our photo shoot on location i.e outdoors, as the lighting wouldn't have been appropriate, or in our case lack of lighting. We therefore chose to book the studio for some more professional looking photographs where we could control the lighting and other demand characteristics however, the studio was fully booked. Thus after changing the whole aesthetics of our original photo shoot, we opted for a grungy looking room on our university campus and used quirky props such as a cage, a fireplace, some free standing steps, and a white painted box. By using these props we managed to achieve some very diverse photographs but ones that were still in keeping with the All Saints traditional theme. We then cropped, edited and enhanced the photographs in Adobe Photoshop to reflect our photographers inspiration ie Mert and Marcus. Overall i am very happy with how the final Photographs turned out, i think the main advantage we had was our use of a professional female model, she brought a real edge, and professional aspect to the shoot and this is defiantly reflected in the photographs.
