The brand we were given to produce a set of campaign shots for was 'All Saints'. I was very excited when i found out, as i was suddenly bombarded with loads of different ideas. 'All Saints' have a very casual, quirky and laid back style to their clothes, their target audience is young people late teens to late 20's, so they often experiment with new and interesting styles without branching too far away from their brand identity. The colours they use are very neutral, such as; greys, blacks, creams, biscuits, khaki etc so i immediately thought how great it would be to play around with the ideas of bright, acidic colours in the photographs. As we chose the style of 'Mert and Marcus's' photography to incorporate into our photographs i thought this would be a very interesting collaboration. The idea of 'All Saints', 'Mert and Marcus' and 'Dazed and Confused' combined together to create several campaign shots suddenly brought the image of a quirky, fresh and bold set of photographs that i couldn't wait to get started on. Here are a few typical shots from previous 'All Saints' campaigns, demonstrating the neutral colours, casual style and subtle colours they are so well known for, along with the colours of the photograph itself that we aim to achieve.
